Around the World: Transforming Futures
The DLP Positive Returns Foundation’s commitment to making an extraordinary impact is deeply rooted in improving the lives of others, whether that be across the room, down the street, or around the world. One of the many powerful ways the PRF creates this impact is through its partnership with Transforming Futures, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth in Guatemala. By providing education, vocational training, and resources, Transforming Futures helps young people escape the cycle of poverty, equipping them with the tools they need to build a brighter future.
Transforming Futures focuses on assisting at-risk and orphaned youth, many of whom have been living on the streets and are vulnerable to violence, drug use, and exploitation. Through structured education programs and vocational training, the organization offers these young individuals a second chance—one that prepares them to secure stable employment, achieve financial security, and make active contributions within their community.
The PRF is committed to driving meaningful impact, and our partnership with Transforming Futures aligns seamlessly with this mission. By supporting Transforming Futures, the PRF helps extend life-changing opportunities to young people working to build stable, independent lives. A recent highlight of our partnership with Transforming Futures was the opportunity to attend this year’s graduation ceremony, celebrating the young men and women who have successfully completed the program and taken meaningful steps toward building a brighter, more stable future as they embark on the next chapter of their lives with confidence and hope. We are honored to play a role in helping these individuals realize their potential, and witnessing their achievements reinforces our belief that, together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
DLP team members were honored to attend this celebration, with 10 team members and investors joining the ceremony live in Guatemala, and more than 80 DLP attendees participating virtually via Zoom, witnessing the profound impact of the program firsthand. This ceremony was a testament to the resilience and determination of the graduates as well as the effectiveness of Transforming Futures in providing a pathway toward independence. Seeing the joy and pride on the faces of the graduates and their families served as a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting initiatives that create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of those who need it most.
